I have been so blessed this fall with some incredible families! Grateful for each of my clients that trust me with their moments and memories! Unpopular opinion: I deleted all social media from my phone.
As a photographer, this felt terrifying at first—Instagram is my main space for marketing and connecting. But if I’m being honest, every time I checked a text or email, my thumb would “accidentally” land on socials. Suddenly 5, 10, 15 minutes were gone… and for what?
It’s been 7 days, and my phone use is down over an hour a day. 🙌 And the best part? It feels so good.
I’ve been running everything through Meta Business Suite on my laptop instead. Turns out you can do everything you need there. Now I’m intentional with my time—using socials for business, not mindless scrolling.
Honestly, I wish I’d done this sooner.

If you ask me, the pumpkin was the perfect prop! Sweet little Pete fell in love with this pumpkin from the moment he laid eyes on it weeks before this session happened. When the parents asked if they should try and leave it in the car, I told them to just let him keep it specifically because I’d rather have a pumpkin in the photo than a toddler tantrum and it ended up being so cute!
Pete, I hope you don’t still have that pumpkin because it’s probably rotting but thanks for bringing it for photos 🧡
